MAPLE VALLEY PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION INVITE RESIDENTS TO PROVIDE COMMENT ON LAKE WILDERNESS PARK PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT UPGRADES
Commissioners will be at Lake Wilderness Park August 3 & 4 for public input and to answer questions
MAPLE VALLEY, WA – Members of the community are encouraged and invited to provide comments to the City of Maple Valley Parks and Recreation Commission that will help guide playground equipment replacement decisions at Lake Wilderness Park property.
The Parks & Recreation Commission held an open house in July to display its draft plan for the playground, and Commissioners will be displaying the plans again on two other dates to further gather public input. Both gatherings will be held at Lake Wilderness Park, 22500 SE 248th Street, Maple Valley on the following dates and times:
August 3rd at the Music In The Park concert from 6:30-8:00pm;
August 4th at the park playground from 11:00am-1:00pm & again from 5:00-7:00pm.
Residents of all ages are invited to view different options, comment, and give their input about the type of playground equipment they would like to see.
