Legacy Site Citizen Survey
Legacy Site Property Uses & Components Citizen Survey
In the year 2000, the City of Maple Valley purchased 50 undeveloped acres along Highway 169 across from Rock Creek Elementary School. The property remains vacant to this day and in 2016 the Councilmembers established a Task Force with the purpose to research, study and make recommendations for the future use of the Legacy Site. The Task Force is comprised of representatives of homeowner associations adjacent to the Legacy Site property, the Chamber of Commerce, the previous Legacy Site Citizen Advisory Committee, citizens at large, the Economic Development Committee, the Parks & Recreation Commission, the Planning Commission, and the Public Arts Commission. To learn more about the Legacy Site, please click on the following link: http://www.maplevalleywa.gov/legacy.
Please take a moment to fill out a short survey by March 8, 2017 to help the Task Force as they work to develop their recommendations for uses/components of the property. The link is listed below.
