Maple Valley City Council sets 2017 Legislative priorities
The Maple Valley City Council plans to attend the annual Association of Washington Cities City Action Days, February 14-16, 2017, to meet with Legislators in order to convey its 2017 Legislative Priorities. The Council vetted these priorities through their processes to ensure that their time with the Legislators facilitates a continued strong and collaborative working relationship while representing the needs of the community.
The Council’s identified priorities include:
- Transportation: Funding for State Route 169 improvements
- State Highway Maintenance Responsibilities
The City Council also supports the Association of Washington Cities Legislative and Sound Cities Priorities.
